About me

__

I’m Krystian Sokołowski, a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Dublin, Ireland, originally from Stalowa Wola, Poland, specialising in creating emotionally rich music for narrative-driven video games. I have over a decade of experience in instrumentation, music production, and sound engineering, having worked across a wide range of musical genres, from hip-hop and lo-fi, synthwave and electronic, to ambient, orchestral, and jazz. I draw on each of these styles to create emotionally rich soundtracks.

I have refined my orchestral voice over the last ten years, grounded in formal study, private mentorship, and online training from industry professionals, writing for ensembles and performing in Ireland’s National Concert Hall.

I am also proficient in FMOD and Wwise, along with a foundational understanding of sound design, allowing me to build interactive, adaptive music systems and implement sound assets into game engines.

In addition to composition, I’ve gained hands-on experience in sound engineering through work with DJ Lance West, DJ Marty Connor, and Robert Molumby. These collaborations allowed me to refine my ear for detail, develop a deeper understanding of mixing in live and studio settings, and work efficiently under pressure.
